The WritePoint team has just successfully completed an amazing and high-pressured project for one of our clients. It was an interesting project with many lessons to be learned. I want to focus on these in the coming posts. Now, while some of our writers are still sleeping it off, I find myself reflecting on the stages. Overall, it was successful. The deadline was met; the client is thrilled. The delivered product is in-depth, thorough, impressive, and we are all exhausted.
What were the lessons we learned or reinforced? They can be divided into the following ideas:
- Part 2:Â Plan ahead, and then plan ahead again
- Part 3:Â Don’t underestimate the importance of estimating
- Part 4:Â Outline the tasks and the contact people
- Part 5:Â Assess the materials on hand early on
- Part 6: Determine the flow of responsibilities
- Part 7: How to cope when the project becomes more complex
- Part 8: Delivering quality
- Part 9: Wrapping it up and learning for tomorrow
- Part 10: Â Lessons for the Client-Side
