This web design course will introduce the students to basic foundations of design and programming for the web.  We cover three industry standards for web design, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash.  The course covers the beginning stages of conceptualization until the end stages of a functioning and usable website.  Along the way we will be discussing various important industry topics, including freelancing, trends, technologies, resources, styles, technologies and what the future holds. An overview of indexing as a key to giving readers access to the vital information in your document. Though geared to technical documents, the indexing principles can be applied to any document, for any purpose or level of user. What needs to be indexed? How do you index a document? What are the requirements? How long should it take, etc.? How do you decide what goes in an index and what does not.
