Launching Your Career as a Technical Writer

You probably already know that WritePoint offers the most in-depth technical writing course available in Israel – 150 hours+ of real training in the tools technical writers need – RoboHelp, FrameMaker, Word, graphics and more.

But what happens after you get trained?  How do you break into the technical writing market?

WritePoint’s Graduate Internship Program (WGIP) offers our graduates their first real experience in the hi-tech world, working on real documentation projects.  We provide an “in” to some of Israel’s largest companies, giving you the chance to show what you’ve learned… and to expand on it.

How does it work?

We match you with an employer for a three-month, full-time, onsite technical writing internship.

We provide mentoring services for our interns, so you’ll have a senior technical writer coach as you begin your career in technical writing.

You make a modest salary for the three month internship and, if the match is successful, you end the internship with a job offer.

If you’re interested in more details on the WritePoint Graduate Internship Program, or on our technical writing training courses, please contact me.  It would be my pleasure to help.
