Toby Klein Greenwald

Toby Klein Greenwald is a veteran educator who has published successfully in many genres. She is a journalist, playwright, poet, author, editor, translator, writer of teacher training manuals, co-author of business plans, and author of grants, PR brochures and video scripts. Toby has more than 20 years of teaching experience at the college, high school and elementary school level and has served on numerous educational think tanks. Her specialties include the creation of innovative educational programs and teaching creative writing and film to AD(H)D and LD high school kids.

In addition to degrees in education, literature and philosophy, she has studied drama, communications and graphic art. Toby is also a founding partner and the Editor-in-Chief of WholeFamily and is the co-author, together with Dr. Michael Tobin, of a self-help novel on marriage.

She has directed professional teams in the creation of innovative educational projects, has been involved in the founding of seven experimental and community schools and has spearheaded the integration of the arts into academic studies, her programs serving as models throughout several school systems. Her articles and photographs have appeared in the U.S. and Canada and she has lectured and led workshops on creative education.
