• Designing successful indexes
• Embedding indexing terms (in Word) - hands-on indexing
• Term selection/Effective topic analysis
• Principles of creating a reader-friendly index
• Understanding hierarchical and related term relationships 
• Understanding and implementing implicit and explicit index referencing
• Analyzing good and bad indexes
• QA/Evaluating your index

The course includes hands-on index building for a short document, examples of good and bad indexes and much more.
